Carriage, Wagon and Sleigh Rides 

  • Carriage, wagon and sleigh rides can be booked by the hour or outing at our location or yours to accommodate from 2- 12 people on the vehicle at one time.   We can add a bonfire or hot chocolate to take the chill off.  We cater to all special celebrations, holidays or just an afternoon of fun & fresh air !       

Rates & Fee Schedule 

  • 1-hour outing followed by fire, hot chocolate for up to 10 people  - $100.00  
  • Personalized off - farm outings range from $750 - $2000   
  • **NEW for 2022** we will be offering a limited number of carriage bookings for weddings - prices starting at $ 1195        
Your Hosts
  • Burt, Darlene & family moved to Havenwood in 1999 and the horses moved in 2001.  During this time we have raised & trained Norwegian Fjords.  In 2014 we stopped raising Fjords and acquired our first team of weanling Clydesdale foals.  We now enjoy offering our services using a team of Norwegian Fjords or a Team of Clydesdales.         

Our Horses

  • Currently we have a Norwegian Fjord team and a Clydesdale team being used for the rides.  
  • All of our horses are imprinted at birth and started using "Monty Roberts" round pen method of join up at the age of two. There is loads of ground work and handling prior to them starting under saddle/harness at the age of three.
  Driving/Riding Lessons
  • If you have the desire to "go back in time" and work with the team we will accommodate this by working with you to harness, hitch and join you while you drive down the trail.
  • If you are "new to horses, driving or riding" we will work with you from the first steps of ground work to build your confidence and skills to ensure that your horse experience is positive.
